The process of preparing the samples is to minimize the size and homogenization of the samples by observing the principle of avoiding contamination. In this laboratory, the emphasis is on crushing the entire sample sent to the laboratory to the extent of 4 mm, dividing it using a shoulder divider and 300 to 400 grams of complete softening.

In the preparation process, the sample is first dried after entering the laboratory. Then, if needed, it is crushed using jaw crushers to a size of less than 4 mm and softened in a disc mill to a size of 75 microns (200 mesh). After softening the sample, the mortar is cleaned using abrasive materials. The powder obtained from the softening stage is divided into three parts. A section for sample analysis, a section for the sample sender (employer) and a section for archiving are sent to the sample storage center of Ati Sanat Mining Group and Factories (Lotus Machine), which is kept in the laboratory for three months
